The European regulation offers a series of guarantees to the consumers when they buy in a Member State. Thus, the seller is obliged to repair, replace, give a discount or refund the amount of your purchase if the product is defective or does not correspond to what was advertised.

The consumer will also have a period of 14 days to withdraw from a distance or off-premises contract, without stating the reason and without incurring any cost. This is known as the right of withdrawal.


  •         What guarantees do products have?


According to EU regulations, you are always entitled to a two-year warranty free of charge.

Buying a product that is defective or does not match what is advertised, we will replace it free of charge or offer you a discount or refund the full amount paid.

As a general rule, you can only request a full or partial refund if it is not possible to replace the product.

(You may not be entitled to a refund for minor damage, such as a scratch on a CD case).


  • Do second-hand products have a different warranty? 

Second-hand products that you buy from a professional seller (e.g. on this website) are also covered by a minimum two-year warranty. However, products purchased from private individuals or at public auctions are not covered.

  • What should you do to exchange or get your product refunded? 

The two-year warranty period starts from the date of receipt of the product.

In Spain, you must report the defect to the seller within two months of discovering it, otherwise you may lose the warranty.

Within the first six months of receiving the product, you must show the seller that it is defective or does not conform to what was advertised.

After six months, in Spain you have to prove that the defect already existed at the time of receipt of the product, for example by showing that it is due to the poor quality of the materials used.

  • How will reimbursements be made? 

In case of withdrawal, you will be refunded all payments you have made, without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 days from the date on which you have informed your decision to withdraw.

La will proceed to make such reimbursement using the same means of payment used by the consumer unless it has expressly provided otherwise. In any case, it will not incur any costs as a result of the refund.
